Progress is being made! I now have a New Zealand passport, with a Kyrgyz visa valid until 2/9/07, so I am legal in this country. The Kazakh embassy accepted my application for a Kazakh tourist visa, starting 14/8/07. I should get that back on the 9th. I then only need to get a Chinese visa, [...]
